One of Knoxville’s Largest Tech Startups Opens Opens in West Knoxville
A significant development for Knox County as Beehive Industries, an innovative technological startup, has expanded its operations to our region.
The company specializes in designing and developing 3D printed jet engines for aircraft such as drones and collaborates closely with the defense, aerospace, and related industries.
This expansion marks the arrival of the only company of its type in our community, introducing 150 high-tech manufacturing and engineering positions. It offers a significant opportunity for local graduates and professionals in the field to pursue their careers right here in Knoxville.
Experience Knoxville's Legacy on Stage
This fall, the University of Tennessee's Clarence Brown Theatre proudly presents "Knoxville," a musical infused with local heritage. Drawing inspiration from James Agee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "A Death in the Family," the musical narrates the poignant tale of a family grappling with loss after a tragic car accident in Campbell County during the 1910s.
The story, which also inspired the 1960s film "All the Way Home," comes to life on stage, connecting audiences with one of the city’s most esteemed literary figures.
Catch the premiere of "Knoxville" this September at Clarence Brown Theatre. Season subscriptions, which include other exciting 2024-25 performances such as "Inherit the Wind," the beloved "A Christmas Carol," and the hilarious "The Play That Goes Wrong," are available now. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience a piece of Knoxville’s cultural and literary legacy!
