Get ready for a month filled with incredible live music performances, brought to you by WDVX. August is Live Music Month, and we have an exciting lineup of events that will keep you entertained all month long.

Kickoff Event:

Summer Splash Bash at Cansler YMCA

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at the Cansler YMCA's Summer Splash Bash on Sunday, July 28th, from 2 PM to 4 PM. This exciting event, held at the Cansler Family Y located at 616 Jessamine St., Knoxville, TN 37917, is free and open to the entire community!

Wear your swimsuit, bring a supersoaker and a towel, and get ready for an epic kids vs. fire truck water battle! Park Ridge Fire Station #4 will bring their ladder truck and spray our kids with water!

Bounce house and inflatable obstacle course for extra fun! Treat yourself to tasty offerings from Claybourne’s Waffle Food Truck or cool down with refreshing treats from the Kona Ice Truck.

Inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, Claybourne's Chicken N Waffles food truck, Kona Ice Truck, and free access to the Y for family swim, basketball, facility tours, and NO JOIN FEE for anyone who joins the Y during this event! Invite a friend to try the Y!

Kid A' Riffic Fun in the Park

Kid A'Riffic Fun in the Park will take place on Wednesday, July 31 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the World’s Fair Park. The event promises a variety of activities, from crafting and games to other interactive experiences, all designed to create lasting memories for kids on their summer vacation.

Early Voting Details

The primary elections for the U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate, and Tennessee House of Representatives will take place on Thursday, August 1st. Additionally, several Knox County elections will be decided through a general election on the same day.

Early voting is from Friday, July 12th through Saturday, July 27th. Early voting locations:
