Free PSA Testing by Eddie Check – September 12-13
Take charge of your health with a free prostate screening offered by Eddie Check on September 12-13, from 7 AM to 6:30 PM at each MEDIC Regional Blood Center location in Knoxville.
Eddie Check, a 501(c)(3) Prostate Health Awareness Program founded in 2004, partners each year with Tennessee Urology, MEDIC, AEL, and other local businesses to provide men over the age of 40 with free PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) blood tests. This important test measures the PSA protein level in your blood, which helps doctors assess prostate health and determine if further testing is needed.
In addition to free screenings, men can also donate blood through MEDIC to help save lives at local hospitals. Eddie Check is committed to raising awareness about prostate health and encourages men to make regular PSA testing a priority.
This life-saving event has been helping men in East Tennessee for over two decades, so make sure to visit one of the MEDIC offices this September to take advantage of this free service. Early detection can make all the difference.
Remember: See your doctor, get tested, and stay informed—your health matters! More Info
