Dave Landeo’s Tailgate for Alzheimer’s Tennessee at Roger’s Rockin’ Blues Cafe

Dave Landeo knows firsthand the heartbreaking impact Alzheimer's disease can have on families. In 2013, Landeo launched the Tailgate for Alzheimer's Tennessee, a benefit concert to support Alzheimer's research and assist those living with the disease. Over the past decade, this event has grown tremendously, and Landeo is humbled by the community's support, helping Alzheimer's Tennessee serve many local families in need.

This year, the 11th annual event will be held on Friday, September 13th, from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Roger’s Rockin’ Blues Cafe in Knoxville (8817 Kingston Pike). The night promises to be full of incredible performances, featuring Nashville musician Tony Bowles, a renowned guitarist who toured with Hank Williams Jr. for 28 years. Bowles has also worked with artists such as Martina McBride, the Amazing Rhythm Aces, Trace Adkins, and Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Throughout the night, local favorites will take the stage, including Vol cheerleader alum Reggie Coleman, alongside talented guest performers like Aaron Tracy, Terry Glen Adams Jr., Larry Blair, and Tone Lewis. Adding to the excitement, WVLT TV will air a live broadcast of the event, hosted by Rick Russo.

Tailgate for Alzheimer’s Tennessee is not just a celebration of music and community—it’s an opportunity to support a vital cause that affects millions. Come out, enjoy the music, and help make a difference for families facing Alzheimer’s. More Info
