Dine Out for a Cause - Panera Bread Give-Back Supports Senior Companions

You are invited to turn a meal into meaningful support during a special Panera Bread Dine & Give Back Day benefiting the Knox County CAC Office on Aging Senior Companion Program. The fundraiser takes place on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Panera Bread (at the 4893 N. Broadway Street NE location).

Throughout the day, 20% of eligible purchases made at this Panera location will be donated to support the Senior Companion Campaign. The Senior Companion Program serves adults 55 and older, pairing them with fellow seniors who provide companionship, encouragement, and support to those experiencing loneliness, isolation, or barriers related to aging. These services are offered free of charge to care recipients, making community support essential to keeping the program strong.

Every sandwich, soup, salad, or coffee purchased helps fund volunteer transportation, stipends, and meal reimbursements—ensuring seniors in our community can continue building meaningful, life-enhancing relationships.

Whether you stop in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a quick treat, your visit makes a difference. Grab a bite, spread the word, and help nourish both neighbors and community during this special give-back day.
