McKay’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Cut Short Due to Heat

Tuesday's celebration of McKay’s 50th anniversary with The Ultimate McKay’s Road Trip, where customers aimed to visit all store locations in one day, was abruptly cut short at the Knoxville location.

High temperatures led to over 20 heat-related health incidents, forcing an early closure for safety. Despite the unfortunate end, the event highlighted McKay’s long-standing presence and its loyal customer base.
