Tax Free Weekend: THIS WEEKEND

The State of Tennessee’s annual sales tax holiday weekend will take place from Friday, July 26 through Sunday, July 28.

During this holiday, Tennesseans can save nearly 10 percent on qualifying clothing, school supplies, and computers. Here’s how you can take advantage of this opportunity:

  • Clothing and School Supplies: Purchase tax-free if priced at $100 or less.

  • Computers: Purchase tax-free if priced at $1,500 or less.

Both online and in-store purchases qualify for the tax exemption. For more information about the sales tax holiday, including a list of qualifying items, visit www.tntaxholiday.com.

Mission Pack the Bus with Mission of Hope

We’re excited to announce that the Mission Pack the Bus school supply drive is back for its 11th year at Turkey Creek Shopping Center! 🎉

🗓 When: July 26-28 (Tax-Free Weekend)

 Time: 10 AM – 6 PM

Let’s come together to support the children of rural Appalachia by donating school supplies. Your contributions will help over 10,000 students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. ✏️📒🎒

Early Voting Details

The primary elections for the U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate, and Tennessee House of Representatives will take place on Thursday, August 1st. Additionally, several Knox County elections will be decided through a general election on the same day.
