Kick off the new year with an unforgettable evening of celebration at World’s Fair Park! Bring your family and friends to enjoy an exciting lineup of events and activities designed to make your New Year’s Eve truly special.
🎧 Silent Disco: Start the fun at 9:00 PM with a unique silent disco experience.
🎶 DJ Music: Knox Vegas DJs will keep the energy alive on the main stage beginning at 9:00 PM.
🎤 Live Music: Dance to the sounds of the Mikki Norwood Band from 10:00 PM to 11:55 PM.
🎉 Ball Drop: Celebrate the countdown with the iconic Sunsphere Ball Drop at midnight!
Enjoy a magical evening exploring Downtown Knoxville before heading to the park. Take in the festive lights, dine at one of the local restaurants, or lace up your skates at Holidays on Ice, open until 9:00 PM.

Celebrate the Season with Tour de Lights 2024!
Get ready for an unforgettable evening of holiday cheer with Tour de Lights, a free, family-friendly holiday bike ride presented by Visit Knoxville and Bike Walk Knoxville. This beloved event brings together neighborhoods, local businesses, and the community for a festive celebration like no other.
Deck yourself and your bike in holiday flair and join the fun on Saturday, December 14, 2024!
Event Highlights:
Holiday Market & Expo: Kick off and wrap up your ride at Mary Costa Plaza, where you can explore the festive market and expo.
Costume Contest: Show off your creativity and holiday spirit with a festive costume for you and your bike—prizes for the best-dressed!
Pictures with Santa: Don’t miss the chance to snap a memorable photo with Santa himself!
Ride Time: The bike ride begins at 5:30 PM, offering a magical tour through the twinkling lights and holiday displays.

Winter Solstice Sacred Circle Dance
Sunday, December 8, 7:00pm at the Knoxville Square Dance Center, 828 Tulip Avenue facilitated by Kevin Meyer, Maggie Moon, and and Diane Shenk
For thousands of years, people all around the world have been celebrating the passing of the longest night and the Return of the Sun. Come join us in a community celebration of Light, Hope, and Peace. Please bring an unscented candle to add to the center of the Circle and wear white to symbolically banish fear, ignorance, and darkness.
Cost: $5/person, $10/household
