Historic Cherokee Caverns Annual Halloween Event Returns for Two Weekends in October!
Get ready for a spooky, family-friendly adventure as the Historic Cherokee Caverns brings back its popular Trick or Treat in the Cave event for two weekends in October! Dress up in your favorite Halloween costumes and stroll through the illuminated cave path, collecting candy and enjoying festive fun.
The event features themed scenes from popular movies and TV shows, photo opportunities, thousands of twinkling lights, and spooky music set among the stunning stalagmites and stalactites of the cave. There will also be vendor booths selling locally made items, food at The Grotto, and warm drinks like coffee and hot cocoa by the campfire.
The cave path is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, and the temperature inside remains a comfortable 58 degrees year-round.
Event Dates & Hours:
Friday, October 18: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 19: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday, October 20: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, October 25: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 26: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday, October 27: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Admission:
$15 per person (ages 3 and up)
Children under 3 enter for free.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online at cherokeecaverns.com or at the gate. Both cash and credit cards are accepted.

Fall Frolic Craft Fair & Festival at Marble Springs on October 19th, from 10 am to 4 pm. Enjoy a day of fall festivities with local craft vendors, cabin-to-cabin Trick-or-Treating, and a costume contest—perfect for showing off your Halloween spirit! There will be something for everyone, from unique crafts to fun family activities, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Marble Springs in the fall. Hallo-Swing at the Laurel Theater
Get ready to swing into the Halloween spirit at Knoxville's annual Hallo-Swing dance party! Hosted by the Knoxville Swing Dance Association, this festive event will take place on October 30th from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Laurel Theater in Fort Sanders.
Dress up in your favorite costume and enjoy a night of dancing, a fun costume contest, and a special Halloween-themed dance lesson. Whether you're an experienced dancer or brand new to swing dancing, everyone is welcome!
If you've never danced before, don't worry! Join the beginner swing dance lesson at 7:30 p.m. No partner or prior dance experience is required, and you'll be on the dance floor by the end of your first night.

Trunk or Treat at Fountain Lanes
Join us for a fun-filled Trunk or Treat event at Fountain Lanes on October 20th from 5-8 p.m. at Strike and Spare Fountain Lanes on North Broadway, Knoxville! Bring your family and friends for an evening packed with candy, games, and exciting activities for the kids.
Highlights include:
FREE candy handed out by local businesses
Knoxville Fire Department, Police Department, and Rescue Squad on-site with cool vehicles for the kids to explore
A bounce house, games, and even bowling in the parking lot
Hot dogs, chips, and drinks available for just $7
If you know any businesses interested in donating candy for the Fire and Police Departments to hand out, please let us know. Vendors will be on-site, with some items available for purchase, but the candy is FREE for everyone!
